I had to do some remittance work in May. Therefore I spent some evenings in studios with Stefan ans Thomas, to tak several pleasant pictures of candies, chocolate and their ingredients.

There is a new update today. It is fireworx again. The pictures ware taken at beginning of Maidult Regensburg viewing from the bridge.
The fireworx was one of the best in the last years. They spent lots of money to do it. It was a grreat look, because the fireworx was even two storeyed.
With the five pictures of todaya there are already 110 fireworx pictures online. I hope you like the new ones. There will be some other pictures this weekend for the end fireworx is going to come online, too. So it is worth to come back some times.

Because of the bad weather coming up I published two pictures with summerlike colors. The were taken at Botanic Garden Munich.

At the beginning of May I had the chance to picture some owlflies.
The owlfly (Libelloides coccaius) is neither butterfly nor dragonfly, but a mixture of both. It belongs to the order of Neuroptera and to the family Ascalaphidae.
He likes hillsides bent to the south, with lots of stones and grass. So he is very rare in middle Europe.
The Owlfly is a wolf in sheps clothing. Looking as harmless as a butterfly he is a raptor, catching small flying insects to eat them. His flight looks like he was an dragonly.
The owlfly rests at the lower parts of a blade of grass. He always turns to the south while resting. As soon as the sun hides behind a cloud he stops flying and gets to sit down. He even wont’s fly away when you are approaching it. But he will fold his wings an turn around the blade to hide behind it.
